Under Construction
When I was growing up back in the seventies there wasn't the collection of "sport" or "super" bikes that riders have come to expect today. We would purchase an old used bike and modify it to our needs. That usually meant performing upgrades. Swapping parts from other bikes usually did the trick along with whatever aftermarket performance we could find at the time. Brake upgrades, clubman or clip-on bars, engine mods etc. were the flavor of the day. Sometimes you got better performance, somtimes you only got asthetics. One thing was always certain, you ended up with a machine that was uniquely yours, a custom ride.
